Currently, we're amidst CMTs... Fun, right? No. At least they're easy, though, plus I don't have to suffer through speaking Spanish at 7:35 AM. Sorry but I don't even want to speak my own language at that time. But anyway, I'd just like to say thank you for the motivational pencils that the school provides for us. I mean, what could be more encouraging than writing utensils that read "SURGE TOWARD CMT SUCCESS,"? (and yes, the surge is our sports team name...) Lots of things, that's what. Seriously, these pencils don't even write well and I'm expected to write a whole prompt with it? Excuse me, no, because this is just pathetic. Was there really nothing our school could spend money on that was just a smidgeon more important than crappy pencils? I mean, yeah, I'm totally overreacting because they're just pencils, but I'm really talking about the principle here. The school will complain that there isn't enough money in the budget, and then use the bit that they have on custom-made pencils. It's just nonsense. Why not spend this money on rubber bracelets of something? Maybe, they could be for suicide or self harm awareness, something that actually greatly impacts students, unlike the CMTs that are really just there to make the school look good. If the money is going to be spent, it may as well be something worthwhile.
